Seekers of Forgiveness

During these years there have been questions, haunting me and surrounding me like would Allah forgive me and other followers of Prophet Mohammad PBUH since we have recited Kalima and since we are the followers of HIS beloved Prophet Hazrat Mohammad PBUH.

But, during the course of time these questions were replaced by an extreme sense of guilt, my faith over the notion that since we are Muslims we’ll enter Jannah (HEAVEN) has weakened. Almost gone!

When I see agony around me, the never ending violence and terror campaigns between different communities I don’t believe we would be forgiven. When I see among myself and others who are enjoying life and spending extravagantly while majority is fighting to obtain the basics, the nitty gritty I can’t get an assurance of being forgiven. What can one say seeing Muslims who even does corruption in the Holy process of Pilgrimage (HAJJ).when we are requesting the lucky Hajjis to remember us in their prayers at the sacred place these people called for their ill wishes perhaps, how can we then think of being Forgiven. We call ourselves Muslims.

I came across these very beautiful Verses from Surah Hadid which enabled me to see my questions in a new perspective.Allah’s Perspective, towards HIS mankind and not vice versa.

On the Day you shall see the believing men and the believing women: their light running forward before them and by their right hands. Glad tidings for you this Day!Gardens under which river flow(Paradise),to dwell therein forever! truly, this is the great success!

On the Day when the hypocrites-men and women-will say to believers: “Wait for us! Let us get something from your light!” it will be said: “Go back to your rear! Then seek a light!” so a wall will be put up between them, with a gate therein. Inside it will be mercy, and outside it will be torment.”

(The hypocrites) will call the believers: “Were we not with you?” The believers will reply: “Yes! But you led yourselves into temptations; you looked forward for our destruction: you doubted (in Faith) and you were deceived but false desires, till the Command of Allah came to pass. And the chief deceiver (Satan) deceived you in respect of Allah”

So this Day no ransom shall be taken from you (hypocrites), nor of those who disbelieved (in the Oneness of Allah- Islamic Monotheism). Your abode is the Fire. That is your maula (friend-proper place), and worst indeed is that destination.

Like many others I’m also made among the believers of Prophet Mohammad PBUH by destiny and not by real faith. I am a Muslim who doesn't understand the power of it. Who is not aware of the good fortune of being among the followers of Prophet Mohammad PBUH. If we truly are looking for forgiveness, for HIS blessings and for His help in leading better lives then we truly will have to become MUSLIMS, as is expected of us by Allah SWT.

Allah SWT is very Beneficial and Merciful, HE doesn’t want to throw us into HELL so grants us forgiveness till the very end of our existence.

O you who believe [in Musa (Moses) (i.e. Jews) and Isa (Jesus) (i.e. Christians)]!Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger (Muhammad S.A.W.),He will give you a double portion of His Mercy, and He will give you a light by which you shall walk(straight).And he will forgive you. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.


Allah says all the paths leading to me are open; if one seems difficult try the other.

There are various ways and paths scattered, it’s for us to find our best!!
